Having gone from backpacker secret to mainstream darling in just a decade, Georgia today is by far the most visited country in the South Caucasus, and it’s easy to see why: its rich culture and astonishingly diverse landscapes make it an ideal destination for anyone loving history and nature on the grandest of scales.
Arrival in Kutaisi. Pick up from Kutaisi International Airport. Transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation and overnight at the hotel in Kutaisi.
After breakfast in the hotel, we will start our tour by visiting Sataplia Cave, one of the most visited caves in the country. The cave has a length of 300 meters accessible for visitors. In the center of the cave there is a large stalagmite in the form of a heart. It is believed that if you touch the heart and make a wish, it will come true. Soon after, we will carry on our tour with Prometheus Cave, a notable and beautiful natural monument of the world. There are 22 halls, and only six are open to tourists. In the cave, it is possible to walk through the length of 1420 meters, see the halls, and travel by boat on the river flow. Finally, we will return to Kutaisi. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay in Kutaisi.
