After enjoying a delightful breakfast at your hotel, you will meet the Driver/Guide in the lobby to embark on another exciting tour.
The first stop of the day will be the Holy Trinity Cathedral, a magnificent orthodox cathedral and one of the largest in the world. Continuing your journey, you'll visit the Metekhi Church and pay homage to the monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasall, the legendary founder of Tbilisi.
Walking down to Rike Park, you will gracefully cross the Peace Bridge and then take a cable car ride from Rike Park to the enchanting Narikala Fortress. From this lofty perch, you will be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, and the iconic statue of Mother Georgia will stand tall above the old Tbilisi.
As you stroll down to the district of Sulphur baths, you'll pass by the only mosque in Tbilisi, a testament to the city's multicultural heritage, Wandering through the captivating Meidan Square area, paved with cobble-stone and adorned with cozy cafes, wine tasting bars, and souvenir shops, you'll immerse yourself in the living past of this vibrant city. Continuing your explorations, you'll visit the Sioni Cathedral, the Anchiskhati Basilica, and the clock tower of the famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. As you pass through Freedom Square, your journey will lead you to the iconic Rustaveli Avenue, where you'll admire local architectural marvels such as the Opera Building, Rustaveli Theater,
Filarmonia concert hall, and the historical Kashueti Church - The tour takes you to the Chronicles of Georgia, where imposing pillars depict images from Georgia's rich history. Afterwards, you'll head back to the city center and proceed to Mtatsminda Park, where you'll ride the Funicular to the mountain's summit, offering a spectacular view of the entire city. As the day draws to a close, you'll return to your hotel, rejuvenated and enchanted by the wonders and beauty of Tbilisi. Rest well for the night, as the adventures continue tomorrow.
